Parent Guidelines

These guidelines help us run each mock exam smoothly and ensure a calm experience for all children.

Before the Session

  • Please arrive on time so your child can settle comfortably.
  • Make sure your child brings the required stationery (pencils, eraser, sharpener, water bottle).
  • Avoid discussing scores or expectations on the way — a relaxed mindset helps children perform better.
  • If your child has any allergies (including nut allergies), please inform us in advance.
  • When sending snacks, kindly avoid nuts or nut-based items.
  • If your child has any special requirements, please let us know beforehand so we can support them appropriately.

Drop Off Instructions

  • Children must be dropped off at least 15 minutes before the session starts.
  • Late arrivals can disturb the exam environment, so please plan your travel accordingly.
  • Parents are not allowed inside the exam room.

During the Session

  • Please remain reachable by phone in case we need to contact you.
  • Please do not wait near the exam hall doors, as it may distract children.
  • The exam will run without interruptions once started.

Pick Up Instructions

  • Please arrive on time for pick up.
  • Children will be released only to a parent or authorised adult.
  • Delayed pick ups affect the next session and venue timings, so we appreciate punctuality.

After the Session

  • Results and feedback will be shared as per our standard process.
  • Please encourage your child positively, regardless of performance.
  • Use the feedback to guide home practice rather than comparing scores with others.

General Expectations

  • Respect the exam environment and follow instructions from the Mindworks team.
  • Do not request copies of question papers, as they are not shared.
  • Keep your child's performance report private and for personal use only.
